land of the amazons

Every time I come home, I feel like the Incredible Shrinking Woman.

I’m the oldest of four kids. And they’re all taller than me — and getting taller by the month, it seems. Instead of looking down on my siblings, I’m looking up. And up.

My 20-year-old brother Ryan is about 6’ 1”, and my 18-year-old sister Ashley is about the same height.

My littlest brother, 14-year-old Ross, is the towering giant of the bunch, at 6’ 5”. He’s shot up a good four inches in height since I last saw him in May. I think he likes his height, but he’s still figuring out the coordination part, loping down hallways and seemingly folding himself to be able to slide into restaurant booths.
