night sky
I went for an after-dinner walk around the neighborhood with Ross and Ashley tonight. Outside, the night air was nicely crisp, requiring jackets. Our block is mostly devoid of streetlights, so what little illumination there was emanated from the random housefront lamp — and the moon above. The sky was completely clear, and, lacking the purple-orange glow of urban light pollution, allowed the stars to shine through in perfect, sharp clarity.
