escape to new york

Rob and I are up in New York City this weekend to see friends and just generally hang out. We took an early-morning Greyhound bus from DC to NYC, and arrived in town just before noon. Jesse has been kind enough to put us up at his swank Manhattan apartment while we're in town. The weather is absolutely amazing today, at least compared with how it's been for the past couple months. The sun is out, the sky is clear and temperatures are in the mid-50s.

Next stop: Not wanting to let a beautiful day like today go to waste, we're headed to Battery Park, and maybe afterward, the Brooklyn Bridge. Tonight: Dinner at Planet Thai in Brooklyn.
