summer wedding
Mike and Megan were married this afternoon in a lovely outdoor ceremony here in Greenfield, Mass. Rob, Shawn and I joked about how much of his soul Mike must have sold to get the absolute perfect weather for the occasion.
The clouds had been massing ominously overhead all afternoon, threatening rain, but by the time of the ceremony, some rays of sunshine managed to periodically peek through the haze. At the end of the ceremony, as if on cue, the sun emerged fully just as the newly-married couple walked down the aisle together.
The clouds returned as family and guests assembled into the reception line and then under the large outdoor tent for the reception. The rain held off until everyone had made it into the reception area … and even then, it didn’t rain for very long, spreading just enough moisture in the air to leave a faint rainbow in its wake over the wedding site.
