this is sportscenter

I’m not a big fan of sports, but I do enjoy ESPN SportsCenter. In particular, I love the commercials that ESPN makes to promote the show. They’re so funny and clever, if ESPN released a DVD of just the commercials, I’d buy it.

And now they have.

Well, you have to buy the new retrospective book ESPN 25: 25 Mind-Bending, Eye-Popping, Culture Morphing Years of Highlights to get the included DVD with 30 “This is SportsCenter” ads. But I’m jazzed about the existence of said disc. I may have to add the book to my list.

On a related note, starwars.com features a funny new “This is SportsCenter” ad featuring Star Wars characters Darth Vader, C3P0 and R2-D2.
