seen: level of access

Washington Post columnist/blogger Joel Achenbach writes about the types of users defined by his blogging tool (TypePad):

So anyway, there’s “junior author” and “author” and “owner,” but I think there’s an even higher level than that, an uber-owner, with a sign-on that allows you to rearrange everything on our site AND go over to the Times site and insert mistakes.

(Achenblog: “Blog Bugs” - 01/18/05)

On a related note, I’ve enjoyed following this blogging experiment by a major mainstream media entity thus far (it just launched this week). It’s a fun mix of writer personality and news product self-promotion.
