I followed a “Buy 1 Song, Get 5 Free” promotion link for MSN Music this morning, and was a bit surprised to see that the site was aping Apple’s old glassy button style for its “buy” and “confirm” buttons — and doing it pretty poorly. If you’re going to have the temerity to steal design elements from your top competitor, at least put in the effort to do a decent job of it.
