eppy eppy

washingtonpost.com won for “Best Overall Design of an Internet Service over 1 million” in the 2005 Editor and Publisher EPpy Awards, beating out azcentral.com and seattletimes.com.

By strange coincidence, I worked on azcentral.com’s fall 2004 site redesign just before I came to work at washingtonpost.com, so it felt a bit weird (yet exciting at the same time) to see both of them up for the same award. Both sites do great work, and it’s nice to see that work so publicly recognized.

Coincidence, I think not! :) Congrats, you should definitely feel *slightly* responsible, at least for your good judgment in employers.

Having two seperate sites you’ve redesigned up for the same award can only mean one thing….keep doing whatever you are doing because it is working. Congrats!
