The Washington Post reported on Saturday that the Transportation Security Administration is considering rolling back some of the airline security restrictions that have gone into effect since Sept. 11, 2001. (“Airline Security Changes Planned” - 08/15/05) Among those:

The proposal also would allow ice picks, throwing stars and bows and arrows on flights. Allowing those items was suggested after a risk evaluation was conducted about which items posed the most danger.

Add “smoke bombs” to the approved list (if they aren’t already), and your average ninja is a-ok to fly the friendly skies again.
