creepy phone call of the day

I went home briefly for lunch today, and while I was home, I got a strange phone call:

I picked up the phone. “Hello?”

A woman’s voice on the other end of the line asked, “Can I speak to … Ines?”

“I think you have the wrong number.”

In a sing-song voice, she replied, “Maybe wrong, maybe right.”

Irritated, I answered, “Nobody by that name lives here.” But she’d already hung up.
