jacktracker

This is a level of television nerdity and Web geekery that I could only hope to aspire to: the Jacktracker, a Google Maps-meets-Flickr interactive map that follows the episode-by-episode adventures of 24’s Jack Bauer.

Every season, I keep meaning to jump on the 24 train … and every season, I’m foiled in that attempt, usually because I’ve misprogramed (or outright forgotten to program) my DVR and miss the (probably crucial) first episode of the season. Now that I’m completely caught up on Alias, though, maybe I’m finally ready to start from the beginning with 24 on DVD, thanks to the magic of Netflix.

Ohhhh… that just reminded me that I forgot to set my DVR to tape 24 again too! I am the worst fan of that show ever. I really do like it, I just forget to watch, if that makes any sense at all which it totally doesn’t.

I’m always impressed by the many uses of Google Maps!
