spam domain

On occasion, I’ll get spam e-mail that appears to come from a subdomain owned by my webhost. I’m not really sure how or why that happens, but sometimes, especially given my webhost’s quirky taste in server names, it results in funny juxtapositions, such as this bit of spam that arrived this morning:

From: Steven@deathwish.dreamhost.com
Subject: Online Canadian Pharmacy

I think I’m more disturbed by the idea that my webhost has a server named “deathwish” than by the solicitation to buy prescription drugs online.

Comments

I get emails from “steven” ALL the time. With that SAME heading. I think Dreamhost is having a problem…
