go bruins ... er ... mason

A couple weeks ago, I never could have known that my haphazard March Madness picks might actually get me somewhere.

In one tournament “discussion” I entered using these same picks, I stand a shot of winning if UCLA takes the championship — this despite the fact that all my other Final Four picks washed out.

I’m definitely rooting for hometown underdog George Mason in the Final Four (who’d have thought that they’d make it this far?), but, since I’ve always flamed out on my bracket picks, I’m really hoping UCLA goes all the way. (Plus, hey, Pac-10 loyalty.)

Mason plays Florida tonight at 6:07 p.m. ET, and UCLA plays LSU at 8:47 p.m. The championship game is Monday night.
