In no particular order…

• Animated favorites due on DVD this year: The Venture Bros.: Season One (coming out May 30, according to Amazon.com), Animaniacs: Volume One and Pinky and the Brain (July 25) and maybe even (SPOON!) The Tick.
• 16 days until Alias returns!
• Month-old CD purchase still in heavy rotation: Eye to the Telescope by KT Tunstall
• The beautifully-designed opening credits for the movie Thank You for Smoking. The Skinny issued a challenge to identify all the typefaces used, which Typographica quickly picked up.
• This stunning print advertisement for a National Geographic story about Chernobyl.
• Belle and Sebastian’s peppy performance of “Me and the Major” at the 9:30 Club last month.
• Daylight savings time. Yeah, losing an hour is a drag that first morning when everything “springs forward,” but any sleepy annoyance is swiftly erased by the thrill of knowing that, starting now, it’ll be light outside when I leave work at the end of the day.
