studio 60

I think I’ve found a new show to add to the DVR next season: Aaron Sorkin’s “behind the scenes of an SNL-like show” Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. NBC aired a 30-second preview during this weekend’s West Wing finale, and someone recently posted a 6-minute preview from the NBC Upfronts to YouTube.

This fall, My Name Is Earl and The Office will move to 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and Studio 60 will air at 9 p.m. It’s like “Must See TV” all over again … but this time, it looks like all of the shows in that block might actually be good.

And speaking of NBC shows … is it so bad that part of me actually wants to buy my own Dwight bobblehead doll?

Yeah, probably.

Comments

So much for Thursdays. TVSquad reports that NBC has decided to move Studio 60 to Monday nights and put Deal or No Deal in its place on Thursdays.

For me, that’s actually a good thing: Since there’s no way I’ll be sticking around to watch Deal or No Deal, the schedule change means I can turn off my television at 9, after The Office, and skip ER entirely. (This past season, I was watching ER pretty much only because it was on after The Office and I’d get sucked in.)
