wigged out

One of the wigs up for auctionIn the wake of last week’s season finale of Alias, ABC is hosting an eBay auction of Alias costumes and props for charity, ending May 31. Some of the auction items — the Rambaldi artifacts especially — are going for sums in the thousands. And even the “lesser” items are $100 and more. It’s more than I’m willing to pay for something I’d get absolutely no use out of. (I mean, what am I going to do with one of Dixon’s suits or Syd’s jackets? There’s no way that I could wear them, even if I could afford them.)

That said, if they weren’t so expensive, one of those wigs might be fun. Or Will’s cowboy hat from this auction.

Comments

Oh so tempting. I remember when Dawson’s Creek ended, they auctioned off everything from Dawson’s bedsheets to Joey’s t-shirts from American Eagle. I think the Alias idea is much more fun - how cool would it be to have a Rambaldi artifact - but I agree, Will’s cowboy hat would be great. Is there anything sexy from Michael Vartan’s collection? I’d like to have a shirt that smelled like him ;o).

They did have a few of Vaughn’s suits up for auction … or if you want to go off the deep end, there’s a sleveless tee-shirt that it looks like he was sweating in. But that’s probably going a bit too far… ;)

And if you’re a big Will fangirl, that auction with Will’s cowboy hat also included the leather pants and jacket he was wearing in that episode.
