Last month, when Apple opened its new flagship store on New York’s Fifth Avenue, a time-lapse camera captured the goings-on outside the store for the Apple Web site. One devoted geek used the opportunity to propose to his longtime girlfriend, standing in front of the camera with a series of posters.

Last week, Cult of Mac solved the mystery of what happened next, publishing both James and Uschi’s accounts of the proposal, as well as Uschi’s answer (yes). It’s very geeky, and very cute.
