song of the day: everybody's free

Before Sunday's premiere of the second season of The Venture Brothers on Adult Swim, one of the "bumps" informed the audience that getting the rights to a particular song represented a significant portion of the entire episode's budget. But it was totally worth it. If you're a fan of the show, the opening montage was great. And that song -- an Aquagen dance remix of "Everybody's Free" by Rozalla -- has been stuck in my head ever sense. It's almost Cher-like in its empowering cheesiness, but I can't help it. I'm hooked. And because I don't have the MP3 and I can't find it on the iTunes Music Store, I've been reduced to playing the YouTube video over. and over. and over again. all day. It's horribly, painfully addictive.
