tentative

Merlin Mann of 43Folders today pointed out an ingeniously simple way to differentiate between scheduled and tentative appointments: Just put a little upside-down question mark — ¿ — in front of the subject of your appointment, and you’re good to go. He offers his advice in the context of using Apple’s iCal, which doesn’t have its own native way of differentiating between the two types of appointments. But Google Calendar, my preferred personal calendar system these days, has the same limitation, so I’ve started applying this little strategy there with no problem.
