crashing down

Tired. Can’t focus. Need sleep.

I’ve had about 3-4 hours of sleep each night for the past 4 nights or so, thanks to weekend on-call, night graphics on Sunday/Monday and a freelance project that’s going live soon. When I get home this evening, I’m going put some finishing touches on that project and then crash, maybe for the night.

In the meantime, my energy level is wilting and I’m having trouble focusing on anything. It doesn’t help that I just made a complete list of everything I’m working on; the result was rather intimidating.

Anyone have any suggestions for stamina-building “brain food” for days like today? It’s all too tempting right now to lapse into stress-induced “comfort food” eating, but I know that as appealing as chocolate is right now, raiding the vending machine for sugary snacks is just going to make things worse.
