No, seriously — Go away.

The gray, rainy weather of the past few days has forced the cancellation of my team’s first soccer game today. It’s a bummer; I was really looking forward to it.

Ah well. Next week, hopefully!

I wonder how they’re going to reschedule this game. I’m a little trepidacious of the notion of a doubleheader. But who knows? Maybe by the time that happens I’ll have sufficiently built up my stamina to be able to do it and still be of use to my team. Plus, since we’re in a 7-on-7 league but have upwards of ten regular players (plus several occasional players), we have plenty of people who can sub in as exhaustion takes over.
