Life in Appalachia

This is another shot from our brief drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway in southwestern Virginia earlier this month. These letters are from an educational sign near Mabry Mill, a turn-of-the-century structure that, signs told us, is the most-photographed building along the parkway.
