here it goes again ... and again

Thanks to its inclusion in last night’s season premiere of Scrubs, I have OK Go’s infectiously peppy song “Here It Goes Again” stuck in my head … again. Someone sent me a link to the video back in August, and I kept playing it over and over again, hypnotized by both the tune and the sight of four guys dancing on treadmills. Now it’s back on my radar. I’ll have to finally break down and buy the song off iTunes when I get home tonight. If you haven’t seen/heard it, check it out; it’s ridiculously catchy.

And back to Scrubs … I don’t necessarily expect strict attention to accuracy and consistency from my shows (though it helps), particularly the comedies, but one glaring inconsistency stuck out to me in last night’s show: Jordan and Kim both found out they were pregnant in the season finale last spring. Last night’s episode presumably picked up where the finale left off, with one of the storylines being J.D. and Kim trying to deal with the news … yet, meanwhile, Jordan is now visibly pregnant, talking as if she’s been pregnant for a while. I’m trying not to think about it too much, but still…

That said, I did like the NBC promo before the show that poked fun at the fact that Carla’s apparently been pregnant for like 17 months now.
