mvhs class of 1997

The mountain lion mascot for Mountain View High School in Tucson, Ariz.Organizers have gotten things rolling for my high school class’s 10-year reunion, including a MySpace page. As the former yearbook editor, I feel like I should contribute somehow, so I’m reposting the info here, in case someone does a Google search for Mountain View High School reunion info:

I understand that they’re hoping to plan the reunion around Homecoming weekend, and that they’re waiting for a date from Mountain View.

My 10-year reunion is coming up this year, too. Except I graduated from a small rural high school, with about 100 people in my senior class, so we’ll probably be lucky if 10 people show up! :)

Wow! In a class that small, I imagine that, after four years, pretty much everybody knew each other. No blending into a crowd there.

My graduating class had something like 400 students — and it looks like 70 of them have already joined the MySpace group. (I don’t know why, but I’m kind of weirded out by that.) I know it’s been ten years (and it was a big class), but I remember / recognize only a few of them.

Thanks for the info Aly. I can’t believe that I work at our high school and I had to go to myspace to find out about the reunion. Times have definitely changed! As for the reunion, it looks like I have about 6 mos to lose all this baby weight! BTW, your myspace photo is fabulous!
