snowbummer

So much for that snowpocalypse.

I’m always cautious about big, crazy weather predictions. Inevitably, the big weather system everyone’s hyperventilating about passes right over us, leaving the area with a little bit of rain — or a little bit of nothing. So, hoping to avoid disappointment I took the predictions of Big Weather today with the appropriate grain of salt. Over the past few days, the forecast for today has evolved from “a foot of snow” to “potential ice storm.” I want another “shut down the city” blizzard. Ice storms are no fun — they’re just dangerous. We’ll see how things shake out tonight.

Anyway, if you’re wandering around today with camera in hand, consider submitting your best snow photos to post.com’s Winter Storm Views photoblog. Editors will be posting their favorite user-submitted photos throughout the day.
