photo of the day: planetary alignment

Planetary Alignment

This photo was taken at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. I was surprised how much I liked it — much better than the National Museum of Natural History here in D.C. (Though I’m wondering if museums of this type have some kind of quota for dated dioramas.)

We only had a limited amount of time to explore, so we only saw a small fraction of the museum. We’ll have to go back and see more next time!
