random observations

Arial Rounded

I’ll second Rob’s observation that Arial Rounded (see above) seems to be the It Font of the moment. Hopefully it’s just a temporary diversion. I’d hate to think that MySpace is actually inspiring a design trend.

Another observation: Until the first day of the conference, I hadn’t realized just to what degree orange seems to be the It Color of the moment. Not only is it the dominant color for all the SXSWi collateral, but it seems to be the accent color of choice all over the place, from attendees’ clothing (including my own new sneakers) to their Web sites.
