momentary heartbreak

Meet the CastRob just told me about a crucial time conflict: Will Wright’s keynote speech on Tuesday overlaps with the screening of the typeface documentary Helvetica.

Wright created all the Sim games (Sim City, Sim Earth, etc.), including my favorite, The Sims. Meanwhile, Helvetica appeals to my inner design nerd, and I don’t know when I’d have another opportunity to see it.

My only real consolation — and probably the deciding factor — is that the Wright keynote likely will be podcasted, so hopefully I’ll have an opportunity to listen to it later on.
