metro art

photo_20070421.jpg

This past Saturday, Rob and I took a cool tour of public art at local Metro stations, offered as part of a weekend-long event called WalkingTown DC. It was a great opportunity to check out stations I wouldn’t normally visit — the stainless steel “trees” at Naylor Road in particular are quite cool — as well as take a closer look at art I’ve seen before. (Why did I never notice that the astronauts at L’Enfant Plaza are dogs?)
