the fast-track campaign

At work, we just launched a new project called "The Fast-Track Campaign," which will explore the impact of the compressed primary calendar (the party nominees could be decided as early as February 5) on the presidential campaigns.

My big contribution to this project is a large XML-powered Flash map that displays, among other things, when states are holding their primaries and which ones are holding their primaries earlier in 2008 than they did in 2004 (hint: a lot of them).

I do hope to add more information / functionality to the map as time goes on. Let me know in the comments if you have any ideas!
