the independents

This weekend saw the debut of a new project from the Post’s polling unit: The Independents, an examination of the attitudes and voting behaviors of people who self-identify as independents rather than as Democrats or Republicans. There’s a live chat at noon ET today on post.com with Jon Cohen and Jennifer Agiesta about the study.

I got to have a little design fun with this project, thanks in no small part to some awesome persona illustrations designed by Laura Stanton in the paper’s NewsArt department.
