function before form

While I perusing the sale section of Piperlime this evening, I came across some unbearably adorable shoes. Alas, a new shoe purchase is not in the cards right now, as:

1) it’s a bit frivolous, ridiculously impractical, and, besides, none of these shoes really matches anything in my wardrobe at present;

and, perhaps most importantly,

2) given my track record for clumsiness, there’s a good chance that I’d break an ankle just trying them on. But for that split-second before disaster struck, they’d look darn cute.

Ooh, I adore cute shoes. You’re stronger willed than me. When I want to get ridiculous, unpractical, adorable shoes, I go to DSW - that way at least they are cheap ;o)

haha, yes indeed, shoes have become my undoing as well. you should see my crazy “favorites” pages on zappos, they range from 300$ d’orsays to mountain hiking boots and all that spans in between. i have high arches though, so it is mostly just for kicks. mostly….
