seen: gigantes

Gigantes

Last week, Rob and I spotted a fan in the audience at the baseball All-Star Game wearing a San Francisco “Gigantes” jersey. I don’t know what the story is behind the “Gigantes” moniker, but it looks like the actual San Francisco Giants have themselves worn the jersey on occasion.

I have little interest in the Giants, but I think I could be persuaded to cheer on a team called the Gigantes. There’s something slightly awesome about that name.
