berries and cream

Because I can’t be the only one who’s seen this, I must now share…

Yesterday, Brian pointed out a crazy Starburst commercial for its Berries and Cream candies. I can’t get the song (and that creepy little dancing guy) out of my head:

(If you can’t see the video above, it’s on YouTube.)

For added demented fun, after the jump there’s a follow-up video, “The Little Lad Dance,” where that creepy guy demonstrates how to do the dance.

Comments

I saw this a while ago - it freaked me out - and I’ve changed the channel whenever it comes on since then.

For some reason, I always think this is an ad for Skittles, just because their ads (man getting milked, human sheep, etc) are equally as disturbing. Of course, the greatest Skittles ad is always Singing Bunny:

Ha! Yeah, that Skittles ad is pretty brilliant — and the ending is great.

Speaking of crazy bunnies and rabbits, I just read about a 1979 incident in which a “killer rabbit” swam up to then-President Jimmy Carter’s fishing boat and tried to climb on board. I’d never heard about it before, but apparently it was a Big Deal at the time. There’s no video — just a photo of Carter shooing it away with an oar — but just the idea of it is kind of funny.

I’m more disturbed by the “Berries and Creme” fan videos on You Tube.
