corner bakery in courthouse?

This week’s e-mail newsletter from Olsson’s Books and Records offered a bit of trivia for folks who frequent the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington:

We’re excited to tell you about a big change at one of our stores. The Courthouse/Arlington Olsson’s is getting a renovation. We’re accommodating a new neighbor, The Corner Bakery, which will occupy the space next to ours.

We will continue to host our popular author program in the lobby of the building. It’s a very welcoming space, located right outside of the store’s door!

I wonder where Corner Bakery will be going — if it will be taking over the current cafe inside the bookstore, or a neighboring storefront, like the H&R Block or Bank of America next door. The Corner Bakery Web site doesn’t have any mention of a Courthouse location just yet.

Updated, 5/27/08 at 4:48 p.m.: Rumor has it the new Corner Bakery is open. It took over the old cafe inside the bookstore (and then some).
