issue tracker

We just launched a new feature at work called the Issue Coverage Tracker, a Flash application that offers ways to sort through press / blog / opinion coverage of key issues and candidates.

Issue Tracker was developed by DayLife, and my role in the project was to take their Flash app and skin it for its various incarnations in our Campaign 2008 section:

  • Standalone module that allows users to explore the candidate and issue fields.
  • A candidate-specific module that appears on our candidate profile pages. (In this example, Bill Richardson.)
  • A widgetized version of the candidate-specific widget. Users have the option to grab a module that focuses on their favorite candidate, or one that encompasses the entire candidate field, such as the one below.

As a spam-control measure, your comment may require my approval before it will appear on the entry. Thanks for waiting. To avoid the moderation delay, consider filling in your e-mail address. It won't appear on the site, but I use it to whitelist frequent commenters so their comments appear automatically.
