the exorcist stairs

Rob works in the Car Barn, the building immediately adjacent to the stairs that played a notable role in the movie "The Exorcist." I sometimes wait at the base of the stairs when I come to pick him up from work, and in the short time I’m there, I can usually count on seeing at least a couple tourists come up to marvel at the stairs and take a photo or two.

This past Friday, I snapped a few photos of my own. The fact that it was dark and a bit drizzly out just added to the landmark’s inherent creepiness.

(As a side note, ohdearlord are those stairs steep. My grad program was also in this building, and I’d occasionally have to go up those stairs on my way to class, huffing and puffing along the way. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I see a lot of people using these stairs for exercise.)
